The short version: you buy a cookbook, we deliver a PDF immediately, you keep it forever. One charge, no subscription. If it isn't what you hoped, you have 60 days to ask for your money back.

1. What we sell

Climber Supplies LLC, trading as Saltbrook Kitchen ("we", "us"), sells digital cookbooks — recipe collections delivered as downloadable PDF files — through saltbrookkitchen.com. No physical goods are manufactured, stocked or shipped. Each purchase is a one-time transaction; we do not sell subscriptions or memberships and nothing you buy from us renews.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars on each product page, in the cart, on the checkout screen and on your receipt. The amount charged is the amount shown as "Due today" at checkout — no more. Payment is taken once, at the moment of purchase, by our card processor. We do not store your full card number and have no reason to: there is no later charge to make.

3. Delivery of digital content

Access to your purchase is granted immediately after payment is authorised: the download opens in your browser and the same link is emailed to the address you gave us. Our Delivery Policy sets out the details. By completing checkout you ask us to begin delivery straight away and acknowledge that, once the file has been downloaded, any statutory right of withdrawal that depends on delivery not having begun may no longer apply — our own 60-day guarantee applies regardless.

4. Licence and permitted use

When you buy a cookbook you receive a personal, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to download, store, read and print it for your own use, on any of your own devices, for as long as you like. You may cook and serve the recipes to anyone, and you may sell food you make from them. You may not resell, share, republish, upload, or otherwise distribute the file or its contents, in whole or in part, nor use them to train machine-learning models.

5. Intellectual property

All cookbooks, text, photographs, layouts and branding remain the property of Climber Supplies LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Your purchase conveys the licence in section 4 and no other rights. Our name and marks may not be used without written permission.

6. Your account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us. We do not require you to create an account; your order confirmation email is your proof of purchase, so please keep it. Files you have downloaded are not remotely disabled or expired.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the shop and download links available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may revise, re-edition or withdraw a title from sale; a file you have already bought stays yours.

8. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to breach the security of the site, interfere with its operation, scrape or bulk-download its content, reverse-engineer download links, or use the site for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse or cancel orders that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or abusive, and refund them where payment was taken.

9. Disclaimers

The cookbooks are provided "as is". Recipes are tested in domestic kitchens, but results depend on your ingredients, equipment and technique, and we make no guarantee of any particular outcome. Nutritional or dietary information, where given, is indicative only and is not medical advice; consult a professional if you have specific dietary needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

Our Refund Policy sets out the 60-day money-back guarantee and how to use it. If anything about a charge looks wrong, please email us first — we resolve almost everything within one working day, far faster than a chargeback. Contacting us does not affect your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date; the Terms in force at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, and disputes are subject to the courts there, without affecting any consumer protections you are entitled to where you live.
