Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. What we collect
When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, billing address, optional phone number, and the details of what you bought. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits of the card, never the full number. We also keep any correspondence you send us, and basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated by using the site.
2. Why we use it
To process your order and deliver your download; to send you the confirmation email and, if needed, resend your link; to answer support requests and handle refunds; to detect and prevent fraud; and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and every such email carries an unsubscribe link.
3. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the shop — our payment processor, email delivery provider and web host — each bound to use your data only on our instructions, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
4. Cookies
The site uses a small amount of local storage to remember what is in your cart between pages. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are visited; you can block cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to buy.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires (typically seven years). Support correspondence is kept for two years. Technical logs are kept for no more than ninety days.
6. Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@saltbrookkitchen.com. We respond within thirty days. If you are in the EU, UK or California you have additional statutory rights, which we honour.
7. Security
The site is served over TLS (HTTPS). Card details are entered into our processor's encrypted fields and never touch our servers. If a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. Children
The shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and process data there, wherever you are when you buy.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; changes are posted here with a new "last updated" date.
